Assessment of variant aggregation.
Abstract

Photos of two stained gels, like that in Fig 1, were analyzed in ImageJ using the lane-plotting function with background subtraction. For each lane, we measured the total peak area in the 30–80 kDa range (P50.80), and the PIMT peak area at 30 kDa (P30). Percent aggregation was then calculated as P50.80/(P50.80 + P30). Data for individual gels is shown with black symbols, and averages with red bars.</p- Image
