Encompassing the Conceptualizations about Power. Mechanisms, Topology, and Something Other Than Domination

Abstract

Se reflexiona acerca de las precauciones de método que ofrece Foucault para pensar los mecanismos del poder como red intersubjetiva en permanente construcción de un discurso de verdad que lo hace posible, invitándonos a evitar su cosificación, su reducción a lo macro institucional concentrado en el Estado y su reducción a la mera fuerza o a la ley. Ello hace parte de una topología de poder que profundiza Massey en la relación: espacio-política, para -al igual que Foucault-  permitirnos reconocer el lugar de los invisibilizados en esa relación de poder, así como sus posibilidades de emergencia como sujetos políticos. Con ese mismo interés por superar la desigualdad, Dussel plantea la construcción de un contenido de la relación de poder diferente a la dominación y la posibilidad de asegurar su obediencia a la soberanía popular como poder constituyente que no se delega. Dichos autores, en diferentes momentos y contextos, ofrecen elementos para una gramática en la construcción de nuevos discursos sobre: la política, el Estado, la democracia, los sujetos, es decir, sobre el poder, como expresión de cambios en la cultura política y, por lo tanto, de nuevas posibilidades para la emergencia de identidades políticas, sujetos políticos y proyectos políticos.It reflects about the precautions of method that Foucault offers to think of the mechanisms of power as an intersubjective network in permanent construction of a discourse of truth that makes it possible, inviting us to avoid its reification, its reduction to the macro-institutional concentrated in the State and its reduction to pure force or law. This is part of a topology of power that Massey deepens in the relationship: space-politics, to - like Foucault - allow us to recognize the place of the invisible in that power relationship, as well as their possibilities of emergence as political subjects. With the same interest in overcoming inequality, Dussel proposes the construction of a content of the power relationship different from domination and the possibility of ensuring its obedience to popular sovereignty as a constituent power that is not delegated. Named authors, at different times and contexts, offer elements for a grammar in the construction of new discourses on: politics, the State, democracy, subjects, that is, about power, as an expression of changes in political culture and, therefore, of new possibilities for the emergence of political identities, political subjects and political projects
