Abstract
The objective of the research project is the analysis and comprehension of the ways in which
a segment of the current Chilean youth gather the political revolutionary traditions, called
mirismo histórico, which existed between 1965 and 1973, configuring in this exercise their own
political identity. The article presents an outline of the results of a long-term research project,
which explores the different ways in which the generations have processed and produced
revolutionary political culture in present-day Chile. This presentation describes how, in the
present and by young people educated here, the “political legacy” of an organization of a
past-present is perceived, which configures and reconfigures a tradition of political struggle
and historical-revolutionary projects. For this, a pertinent bibliography, organic documents,
and interviews with protagonists were utilized.Fil: Fernández Gaete, Manuel. Escuela de Historia. Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano; Chile.Fil: Ortiz Figueroa, Matías. Universidad de Santiago de Chile
