Ethical leadership has become a popular subject
\nof empirical research in recent years. Most studies follow
\nBrown et al.\xe2\x80\x99s definition of ethical leadership, which
\nconsists of two components: the moral person and the
\nmoral manager. In this paper, I argue for a third relevant
\ncomponent: i.e., the moral entrepreneur who creates a new
\nethical norm. Viewing moral entrepreneurship as a new
\ncomponent of ethical leadership opens up avenues for
\nstudying various antecedents and outcomes of ethical
\nleadership that have not been acknowledged so far, or at
\nleast, not adequately
