Abstract

Volume 3 of 3 (532 p.), illustrated, 23 cm.In this section of Guillermo Prieto’s travel journal, he describes his trip from San Antonio, through the towns of Castroville, Uvalde, Batesville, Fort Clark, Eagle Pass, and finally, back across the border to Piedras Negras, Coahuila. The chapter begins with a poem negatively describing this trip, signed with his pseudonym, Fidel. He includes a brief description of Eagle Pass, Texas, and his impressions regarding the US-Mexico border. The chapter also ends with a poem, which expresses his joy at returning to Mexico.This document is an English translation of the "Viaje a los Estados-Unidos Vol. 3." Translated by Lorena Gauthereau-Bryson. The language of the original document is Spanish
