O Chile consiste hoje num exemplo notável de desenvolvimento na área frutícola. Apoiadas nas vantagens comparativas do País (terras férteis, mão-de-obra alfabetizada, infraestrutura, clima de negócios, capital, incentivos governamentais), as empresas locais desenvolveram com rapidez uma alta capacidade competitiva, firmando a fruticultura chilena numa posição de destaque entre os países produtores e exportadores.Memória
