    Abstract

    AMPL scripts to generate random instances for the problem addressed in the manuscript "A framework for joint resource allocation of MapReduce and Web Service applications in a shared cloud cluster", which has been submitted to the Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing on January 28, 2017 and it is currently (May 3, 2018) under revision. The uploaded zipped folder contains a subfolder for each set of instances described in the manuscript and a README.txt file which contains key instructions for executing the scripts. All scripts within each subfolder are written in AMPL
